This is a nice original Italian M91 Truppe Speciali Carcano Carbine that was manufactured in 1916 at the Brescia Arsenal. Mechanically this carbine seems to work good, but will need a good cleaning before firing is attempted.  This carbine is not import marked.  It has the hard to find transverse lug bayonet front band.  This carbine would make a great project and should clean up well.
