This is a nice original Danzig Gew 88/05 Commission Rifle that was manufactured in 1890. Mechanically this rifle works great and should make for a fine shooter. This rifle has had the ’05 conversion and will shoot standard 8mm Mauser ammunition. This rifle is not import marked. It is Turkish crescent moon marked on the receiver.
This rifle is a pre 1899 antique rifle and therefore can be shipped to the buyer directly where legal. A copy of your state issued photo ID must be submitted before shipment can be made. Failure to provide proof of age will result in firearm restocking fee of 25%. NO EXCEPTIONS! All antique firearms ship via adult (21+) signature!
