This is a very nice all original German K98 Bayonet that was manufactured in 1941 by C. Riese.  Mechanically this bayonet works great with the lock button working as it should.  The blade is in very good condition with some light drag marks from scabbard.  The bakelite handles are in very good condition.  All other metal parts are in very good condition throughout.  The scabbard has some handling marks, but is in overall very good condition.  This bayonet is unit marked “10./J.R.17.155.”
