This is a very nice Winchester Model 1897 shotgun that was manufactured in 1923. Mechanically this shotgun works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  The 30″ barrel has a very good bore and full choke.  Serial numbered parts are matching.  This shotgun has been refinished, but was done some tastefully and with a professional level bluing.  This is a great shotgun that still has generations of hunts left in it!
