This is an all original very rare WWII OSS Drop Knife that was manufactured for use by partisan forces during WWII.  This knife was made in the early days of WWII for clandestine operations using surplus 1873 Springfield Trapdoor bayonets.  These bayonets were cut down with a simple rubber handle and metal cross guard being added.  They are completely devoid of markings.  This is a textbook example of this type of knife.  The blade is in good condition throughout with some light signs of corrosion and use.  The rubber handle is a little hard, but is all original. This knife does not come with a scabbard.
