This is a very nice Winchester M1 Garand that was manufactured in 1944. Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle is not import marked.  It has an original Winchester bolt and trigger group.  The stock is not marked.  The barrel is a 1953 dated Springfield barrel.  The operating rod is a Remington national match rod.  The throat erosion is a little under a 2.  The muzzle erosion is at 1.5.  This is a great collectible 1944 dated Winchester M1 Garand that is sure to be an excellent addition to any WWII collection!
