This is a very nice all original New England Westinghouse M91 Mosin Nagant Rifle that was manufactured in the United States in 1915. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter. This rifle was sent to Russia and used until being captured by the Finnish during the Winter War and subsequently reissued by them to fight against the Russians.
This rifle retains the matching bolt. the butt plate is not numbered and the floor plate is a replacement most likely done by the Finns. There is an import mark on the end of the barrel. This is a great US made M91 Mosin Nagant that will make an excellent addition to any milsurp rifle collection!
