Swedish Model 1896 Mauser Rifle Rare Finnish Contract [SA] Marked Amazing Condition 1899 Dated

This is a very nice all original Swedish Model 1896 Mauser rifle that was manufactured in 1899 at the Carl Gustafs Stad Factory. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle was imported to Finland during the Winter War and used by the Finns against the Russians.  It is [SA] marked on the receiver.  This rifle is complete with original sight hood and a very nice original leather sling.  The Swedish Mauser is said to be one of the finest Mauser rifles ever made and this one is no exception to those words!

Bolt is matching. Other parts are not matching which is common for a Finnish Contract Swedish Mauser.

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.

METAL CONDITION

The metal is in very good condition throughout. There is some light wear consistent with an issued rifle.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock and handguard are both in very good condition throughout.
