This is a very nice all original German Mod 98 Mauser rifle that was manufactured at the Waffenwerke Bruenn AG, Brno Factory in modern day Czechoslovakia. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is import marked at the end of the barrel.  These rifles were manufactured at the very end of WWII with almost all of them being issued just post WWII to the Czech military.  It is still German proof marked on the right side of the receiver, the barrel, and the bottom of the bolt root.  These are great shooting rifles and are excellent collectibles to add to your WWII collection.
