This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Toyo Kogyo Arsenal in Hiroshima Prefecture.  Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle is an early 30th series with monopod, but no anti aircraft sights.  The mum on this rifle has been ground.  It is not import marked and is most likely a WWII bringback.  This is a great rifle that will make an excellent addition to your WWII rifle collection!
