This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal late in WWII. Mechanically this rifle works great and should make for a good shooter if you wish to do so. Being an 11th series rifle, this rifle was made late in WWII and is known as a substitute standard rifle. It has a very nice unsanded stock which is very hard to find on a late war Arisaka. The mum has been ground. This rifle has not been import marked and is most likely a WWII bringback. Finding an 11th series rifle in this condition is a very hard feat!
