This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 5 horsehair pack manufactured for use by the Japanese Military in WWII.  This pack is all original and complete.  There is one leather strap that has broken that holds the mess tin in place, but it is complete and could be easily repaired.  This pack comes with a nice original mess tin as pictured.  The leather is dry and will need conditioned. I will leave that for the next owner. These packs are very hard to find in any condition, but this one is especially nice with all original straps and no reproduction parts.
