This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 38 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is matching and is not import marked.  The mum has been ground.  This rifle is sure to be an excellent shooter and a great collectible.

BORE CONDITION

The bore is in very good condition throughout. It is bright and shiny with strong rifling.

METAL CONDITION

8/10

The metal is in good condition throughout. There is some light pitting on the barrel and receiver that should clean up with a little oil and brass wool.

STOCK CONDITION

9/10

The stock and handguard are both in very good condition. There are a few dents and dings consisten with an issued rifle.
