Rare Italian M91 Carcano Greek Capture Project Rifle

This is a nice Italian M91 Carcano with E marked receiver.  These are said to have been used by the Greek.  I don’t know much about it, but it would make a great restoration project for an Italian Carcano collector looking for an original E marked Carcano.

SERIAL NUMBERS

Parts are correct and original, but rifle has been sporterized.

BORE CONDITION

8/10

Bore is in good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout. There is some frosting in the grooves that will clean up with some shooting.

METAL CONDITION

The metal is in good condition throughout.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock has been sporterized, but is in good condition otherwise.
