This is a very nice Loewe Berlin Gew 88/05 rifle that was manufactured in 1891. Mechanically this rifle works great and is range ready. This rifle is not import marked. It is all matching except for the bolt. I was told it was a WWI bringback, but its story is lost to time. It has had the ’05 conversion to take regular 8mm Mauser without the use of a clip. It is “S” marked for standard 8mm Mauser.
This rifle was manufactured prior to 1899 and is therefore classified as an antique. It can be shipped to any eligible buyer over the age of 18 where legal. A copy of your state issued photo ID must be submitted before shipment can be processed. All firearms ship adult signature. NO EXCEPTIONS!
