This is a very nice all original German K98 Mauser Rifle that was manufactured in 1943 at the Steyr Factory for the SS division.  Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle is a mid war single rune SS contract rifle that saw service on the Eastern Front and was captured by the Russians.  This rifle has had the swastikas peened on the eagles, but the rune is untouched on top of the receiver.  A great rifle with true WWII history!
