Amazing German K98 Mauser Scarce 1940 243 Mauser Borsigwalde Kriegsmarine Marked Almost Completely Matching WWII Bringback

This is a very nice all original German K98 Mauser that was manufactured at Mauser Borsigwalde in 1940. Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle is not import marked and is more than likely a WWII bringback.  It is all matching with the exception of the bolt body and extractor.  The rest of the bolt numbers are matching to the rifle. Also, this rifle is Kriegsmarine marked on the stock disc.  This is a beautiful collectible rifle that will make an excellent addition to your WWII rifle collection!

SERIAL NUMBERS

All parts are matching and correct with the exception of the bolt root number. The other bolt parts are matching.

BORE CONDITION

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.

METAL CONDITION

The metal is in very good condition throughout. There is some wear consistent with an issued rifle.

STOCK CONDITION

8/10

The stock is in very good condition throughout. It has been sanded at some point and displays proud metal at the butt plate. There is a small superficial split at the back of the receiver.
