This is a very nice all original German K98 Mauser rifle that was manufactured in 1942 at the Gustloff Werke Factory.  Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle was captured by the Russians and rearsenaled sometime after WWII using all original WWII German parts.  The swastikas have been neatly peened, but some WaA markings are still legible.  There is an import mark at the end of the barrel. Overall, this is a great original German K98 Mauser that will make an excellent addition to your WWII rifle collection.
