This is a very nice all original Finnish M28 Mosin Nagant rifle that was manufactured at Tikka. Mechanically this rifle is in very good working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is import marked at the end of the barrel.  These rifles are great shooters and excellent collectibles made in the early 1930’s for Finnish Civil Guard use.

SERIAL NUMBERS

Bolt is serial number matching. The butt plate is not serial numebered. The floor plate is mismatched, but is a Russian part and is commonly found on the Finnish Mosin in this manner.

BORE CONDITION

9/10

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.

METAL CONDITION

8/10

The metal is in good condition throughout. There is wear consistent with a rifle that has been issued and used. The bluing is original, but thinning throughout.

STOCK CONDITION

8/10

The stock and handguard are both in very good condition throughout. There are dents and dings throughout, but it does not appear to have been messed with or refinished.
