Extremely Rare DWM M1906 Luger Portuguese Naval Contract

This is a very rare DWM M1906 Luger Portuguese Naval Contract that was one of 800 manufactured for Portugal. Mechanically this pistol works great. I have personally fired it and it shoots excellently.  This pistol is not import marked and is all original.  There are not many examples of this pistol known to exist in the US.  These were shipped to Portugal from Germany in the 1930’s. This pistol will make an excellent addition to any Luger collection!

SERIAL NUMBERS

All serial numbered parts appear to be matching with the exception of the side plate which is correct, but serial numbered underneath.

BORE CONDITION

8/10

The bore is in good condition throughout. There is some frosting to the grooves.

METAL CONDITION

7/10

The metal is in good condition throughout. There is some older pitting to the metal parts. This is commonly found on these model pistols as they saw hard service with the Portuguese Navy.

STOCK CONDITION

7/10

The grips are all original and have not been messed with. They do display wear throughout as can be seen in the photos.
