This is a very nice all original German K98 Mauser rifle that was manufactured in 1943 at the J.P. Sauer and Sohn Factory. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is not import marked and is most likely a WWII bringback. It has a matching bolt, floor plate, and trigger guard.  If you’re looking for a nice original German K98 Mauser for your collection, this is the perfect one!

SERIAL NUMBERS

Bolt, floor plate, trigger guard are all matching. All other parts are not serial numbered.

BORE CONDITION

9/10

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout. There is some very light greying in the grooves that should clean up after some shooting and cleaning.

METAL CONDITION

8/10

The metal is in very good condition throughout. There is consistent wear showing signs of issued use throughout. The bluing is thin on the receiver and barrel.

STOCK CONDITION

8/10

The stock and handguard are both in very good condition throughout. The stock has one arsenal repair on the keel. The WaA markings can still be seen, but is light.
