This is a nice all original Spanish 1916 Mauser short rifle chambered in 7.62mm NATO. Mechanically this short rifle seems to work fine. I have personally fired it and it shoots as it should.  These rifles were converted when Spain entered NATO to 7.62mm and used mainly for training purposes.  They are handy little rifles that make good shooters and have become quite collectible over the last few years.
