This is a very nice and all original WWI 1917 Trench Knife that was manufactured in 1917 at LF&C.  This knife is in all original condition with a very nice blued blade with light drag marks from scabbard.  The wood handle is in very good original condition and has had the initials “WH” lightly carved into one side.  The scabbard is in very good condition throughout.  It too has been lightly inscribed with “WH”.  There is one brass rivet missing from the end cap as can be seen in the photos.  Overall, this is a great knife that will be hard to upgrade!
