This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Toyo Kogyo Arsenal in Hiroshima Prefecture.  This 30th series early rifle works great mechanically and is sure to make for an excellent shooter.  This rifle has a full mum that has not been defaced.  It is not import marked. It comes with a nice original US Model 1905 leather sling that was most likely put on it by the GI who captured it.  The monopod and original anti aircraft sights are in good working order.  This is a great early Type 99 Arisaka that would be an excellent addition to your WWII rifle collection!
