This is a nice original German Gew 88 Commission rifle that was manufactured prior to 1899. Mechanically this rifle works great and should make for a fine shooter. The bore diameter should be checked before firing as this rifle is not “S” marked on the barrel shroud. This rifle is not import marked. It has been scrubbed of all receiver markings. It has not been updated in any way and is in original Gew 88 configuration.
This rifle is a pre 1899 antique rifle and therefore can be shipped to the buyer directly where legal. A copy of your state issued photo ID must be submitted before shipment can be made. Failure to provide proof of age will result in firearm restocking fee of 25%. NO EXCEPTIONS! All antique firearms ship via adult (21+) signature!
