This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Tokyo Juki Kogyo Arsenal. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is not import marked and is most likely a WWII bringback.  This rifle is 27th series rifle with an early reject stock that was retrofitted by the Japanese to use later in the War.  This is a substitute standard rifle with later features and a very interesting stock.
