This is a very nice all original German K98 Mauser that was manufactured 1941 at the J.P. Sauer Factory. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is not import marked and was purchased by the son of the vet who brought it back.  This rifle has some late war features such as the unumbered stock and barrel bands. The bolt is factory matching to the rifle along with the trigger guard and screws. This rifle would make an excellent addition to your WWII rifle collection.
