This is a very nice all original Chinese Type 53 carbine that was manufactured in 1956 at the Chinese Arsenal 26. Mechanically this carbine is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  It is import marked on the side of the receiver.  This is a great example of a Chinese Type 53 carbine and will make an excellent addition to your milsurp rifle collection

SERIAL NUMBERS

The butt plate is matching. The bolt and magazine floorplate are not matching, but works well in the carbine.

BORE CONDITION

8/10

The bore is in good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout. There is some frosting in the grooves.

METAL CONDITION

The metal is in very good condition with some light wear from use.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock is in very good condition throughout. It has some wear and has been refinished and stained at some point.
