This is a very nice Portuguese 1904/39 Vergueiro Rifle that was manufactured in Germany by DWM for use in the Portuguese military. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is import marked at the end of the barrel.  It comes with the original Portuguese leather sling.  This rifle has been arsenal converted to 8mm Mauser and functions flawlessly.  These are excellent rifles that are great shooters and awesome collectibles!

All parts are matching with the exception of the safety and rear cocking piece.

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.
