Awesome German K98 Mauser Rifle 1943 DOT

This is a very nice German K98 Mauser rifle that was manufactured in 1943 at the Waffenwerke Bruenn AG, Brno plant in modern day Czechoslovakia. Mechanically this rifle is in very good working order. I have personally fired it and it shoots great.  This rifle is not import marked.  It has a post WWII sling swivel added to the keel of the stock and the bottom of the lower band.  This is a great example of a WWII German K98 Mauser that was reissued post war.

SERIAL NUMBERS

Parts are not matching as it has gone through a post WWII rebuild.

BORE CONDITION

8/10

Bore is in good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout. There is some frosting in the grooves that will clean up with some shooting.

METAL CONDITION

8/10

The metal is in good condition throughout. It has been arsenal refinished and German markings are hard to read.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock and handguard in good condition throughout. There are dents and dings as can be seen in the photos. It has been refinished.
