This is a very nice Japanese Type 38 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Koishikawa Arsenal. Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle has a full chrysanthemum that has not been defaced.  This rifle is a WWII bringback and is not import marked.  These are great rifles that are some of the best shooting and collectible rifles on the milsurp market today!

Bolt is not matching, but is original and works well in the rifle.

BORE CONDITION

The bore is in good condition throughout. There is strong rifling and shine with some frosting in the grooves that should clean up after some shooting.

The metal is in good condition throughout. There is some wear consistent with an issued rifle.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock and handguard are in good condition throughout. There are a few dents and dings throughout. The stock has had a coat of varnish applied.
