This is a very nice Ishapore 2A1 Jungle Carbine Enfield that was manufactured in 1966. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This carbine has a matching bolt.  These carbines were converted to jungle carbine configuration by the Gibbs Rifle company here in the United States when imported in the 90’s.  They have become awesome collectibles over the last 30 years and are a lot of fun at the range.
