This is a very nice all original Springfield Armory Mk2 Mod 0 Garand rifle chambered in 7.62mm NATO.  Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working condition and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle was one of 15,000 rifles converted by H&R using a chamber bushing to rechamber them to 7.62mm NATO.  All of these rifles were grooved in the chamber to accept this bushing making them harder to come out when shooting.  This rifle is not import marked.  It still retains the original WWII type lock-bar rear sight.  This is a great example of the Springfield Armory Mk2 Mod 0 rifle that will be an excellent addition to your collection!
