This is a very nice all original Savage Model 99 Rifle that was manufactured in 1928. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This take-down version rifle is a convenient back packing rifle that is easily taken apart for transport.  It has a very nice Lyman Tang Sight installed.  The Savage Model 99 rifle is one of the finest lever actions to be made in the US.  This rifle still has lots of life and is ready to go on your next hunting adventure.

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout

METAL CONDITION

The metal is in good condition throughout. Thinning of the blue throughout. There is wear as can be seen in the photos.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock and fore end are both in good condition throughout. There is a small repair at the toe of the stock.
