This is a very nice all original late War German Mod 98 Mauser rifle that was manufactured by Waffenwerke Bruenn AG, Brno in German occupied Czechoslovakia. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter. This rifle is WWII German marked, but was used by the Czechs post war and is such marked as well. There is a small import mark at the end of the barrel. This rifle is in Kriegsmodell style with no bayonet lug, no provision for cleaning rod, and large stamped trigger guard.
