This sale is for a very nice all original Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal. Mechanically this rifle is in very good working order and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle is not import marked and is most likely a WWII bringback.  This is a hard to find transitional rifle from the 7th series.  It features the short rear sight and no provision for cleaning rod.  It also has a welded safety and barrel type bolt handle.  The mum has been defaced on this rifle.
