This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 38 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Koishikawa Arsenal before WWII.  Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be an excellent shooter.  This rifle is not import marked.  It has several cartouches on the stock.  It comes with a very nice original USGI pattern 1906 leather sling that is decent condition with some dry cracking throughout.  The mum has been ground.  This is a really neat Japanese Type 38 Arisaka with great character that will make an excellent addition to your WWII rifle collection.
