This is a very nice all original Italian M91 Carcano Bayonet. This bayonet will fit the M91 Carcano long rifle and Truppe Speciali Carbine. Mechanically this bayonet works great with the locking button free and easily manipulated.
The blade is blued throughout. There is some light wear, but it is all original and in good shape.
The wood grips are in fair condition throughout. There are dents dings, and splits throughout. They are solid and display ok, but could use replacement or rework.
The cross guard and pommel metal are in good condition throughout. There is wear and browning of the metal throughout.
The scabbard is in good condition throughout. This appears to be a field modified scabbard made from a Veterlli Scabbard. The brass has been hammered into shape to fit the thinner blade of this Carcano bayonet.
