This is a very nice German K98 Mauser rifle that was manufactured in 1940 at the Mauser Borsigwalde Factory. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter. This rifle is all numbers matching. It was captured by the British and is British marked. The unfortunate part of this rifle is that is was drilled and tapped and the bolt handle was clearanced for a scope. This would be a perfect rifle to restore to original glory.
