This is a very nice German K98 Mauser that was manufactured at the Gustloff Werke Factory in 1944. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is not import marked.  All original German markings are complete and have not been defaced or peened.  This rifle comes with a nice reproduction leather sling.

Floorplate is serial number matching. All other serial numbered parts are not matching.

BORE CONDITION

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.

The metal is in very good condition throughout.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock and handguard are both in good condition throughout. Stock has been refinished. There is a small split at the wrist by the end of the receiver. Very common on laminate stock rifles. There is some damage around the trigger guard.
