This is a very nice all original German K98 Bayonet that was manufactured by E. Pack & Sohn in 1942. Mechanically this bayonet works great. It locks right on to a K-98 rifle and is easily removed with a push of the retaining button.
The blade has been lightly sharpened. There is some wear at the tip of the blade.
The grips are in very good condition throughout.
The cross guard and pommel both show signs of wear and use as can be seen in the photos. Finish is all original and correct.
The scabbard is in very good condition throughout. There is some wear and a few light dents and dings from use.
The leather frog is in very good condition throughout. The leather is a little dry, but will clean up easily.
