This is a very nice all original German K98 Bayonet that was manufactured in 1944 by Carl Eickhorn. Mechanically this bayonet works great. There is finish wear throughout. There is some filing on the finish where the serial number is on the Ricasso of the blade.
The scabbard has dents and dings throughout. It is not matching to the bayonet. It is a 1941 ASW manufactured by E. & F. Hoerster, Solingen. This bayonet will make an excellent addition to your German K98 rifle.
