Excellent German Gew 88/05 Bolt Action Rifle Loewe Berlin 1890

This is a very nice all original German Gew 88/05 bolt action rifle that was manufactured at Loewe Berlin in 1890. Mechanically this rifle works great and is sure to be a great shooter.

This rifle has the 1905 update for the use of the modern 7.9mm Patrone S round, with updated rear sight, and modern stripper clip guides. The bolt is Turkish marked, but the rest of the rifle does not have any Turkish markings.

This rifle is complete and ready to go to the range! This rifle is an antique and ship directly to a buyer over the age of 18.  A copy of your state issued photo ID must be emailed to mattfrenton@live.com before shipment can be made. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Parts are all correct and original German manufacture, but are not matching in serial number.

BORE CONDITION

The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.

METAL CONDITION

The metal is in good condition throughout. There is wear and some light pitting to the metal as can be seen in the photos.

STOCK CONDITION

The stock is in very good condition throughout. There is wear throughout with numerous dents and dings.
