This sale is for one very nice all original Russian SVT40 bayonet. Mechanically this bayonet works great. The button pushes firm as it should.
The blade is still in the white and not blued like the refurbished bayonets mostly seen.
The cross guard and pommel are both in very good condition being found in the white with some wear.
The wood handles are in very good shape with some handling marks consistent with an issued bayonet.
The scabbard is black painted and in very good shape throughout. There is some wear as can be seen in the photos.
