This is a nice early Chinese Type 56 rifle manufactured in 1957.  Mechanically it is in good working order and has a very good bore. It is sure to make for a good shooter.  This rifle has early features to include a threaded in barrel, milled trigger group and blade bayonet.  There is a small import mark at the end of the barrel.  Overall, this is a decent early Chinese rifle that is sure to be a good shooter. It’s clear of cosmoline and ready for the range!

Bore Condition: Very good bore with strong rifling and shine throughout.

Matching Numbers: Bolt, trigger guard, magazine, and dust cover are all matching to themselves and correct Chinese parts. However, oddly enough, they do not match the rifle.  The stock does match the rifle

Metal Condition: Metal is in fair condition throughout and is all original. There is finish loss throughout mostly on the high edges of the receiver,  dust cover and trigger guard. The magazine looks like it was painted black at some point.

Wood Condition: Good condition throughout.  The stock is original Chinese and is matching to the rifle. It has been cleaned at some point removing the original finish.

FFL Status: 03 C&R eligible.
