This is a very nice all original British No7 Mk1/L Bayonet for the No1 Mk4 Enfield Rifle. This bayonet will fit the Sten submachine gun. It works great mechanically with the locking lug rotating the way it should.
This bayonet has a good blade that has not been sharpened. It is a good blade that is properly in the white. The metal around the handle is blued and in very good shape throughout. There is some wear on the high edges. The pommel is marked M47B
The handles are in very good condition throughout. There are some light handling marks from general use, but overall very good condition.
The sheath is in very good condition. It is correct for this bayonet and is free of any dents or damage. The black paint finish is in very good shape throughout.
The British No7 Mk1 bayonet is a very hard bayonet to find especially in this condition. You will not be disappointed with this very rare piece!
