This is a very nice all original Russian SVT-40 manufactured in 1943 at the Tula Arsenal. This rifle has a very good bore and a very good gas system that functions as it should and is free of corrosion. Mechanically everything works great on this rifle. It comes with a leather sling that I do not know the origin of. It could be original, I do not know, but it was on it when I received the rifle. There is a very small import mark on the side of the receiver. This is one of the models without the scope mount groove milled into the receiver.
