This is a very nice all original Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle that was manufactured at the Tokyo Juki Kogyo Arsenal during WWII. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is not import marked and is most likely a WWII bringback.  The mum has been defaced on this rifle.  This rifle appears to have not been issued and is in very good condition throughout. It is a harder to find 37th series TJK transitional rifle with both early and late war features.
