This is a very nice all original Czech VZ23 Mauser rifle that was manufactured in 1923 at the BRNO Arsenal.  Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is import marked at the end of the barrel.  This rifle is properly marked for the VZ-23 on the receiver.  It has been arsenal refurbished at some point and has some features of a VZ-24 such as the lower stock band.  The VZ-23 was only produced for around one year before the adoption of the VZ-24.  This is a great opportunity for a hard to find rifle for your collection!
