This is a very nice Finnish Capture M91 rifle manufactured in 1917 at the Sestroryetsk Arsenal. Chambered in 7.62x54r, this rifle has a good bore that is bright and shiny with great rifling. There is a little darkness in the grooves that looks like it will clean up nicely with a little work. The bolt is matching on this rifle. The floorplate and butt plate appear to be unnumbered which would be correct for a Finnish Capture. This rifle is missing the Finn wire sling hangers and the top handguard. Overall, this is a very nice example of a rare arsenal maker that has some great history.
